Terms of service
Last updated: October 7, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Simone's websites, mobile apps, staff portal, companion services, and paired safety watch features (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You may use the Services only if you can form a binding agreement with Simone Technologies Inc. and comply with these Terms. You are responsible for keeping account information accurate and for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials.
2. Services
Simone provides AI companionship, life-management support, family updates, community coordination tools, and optional safety watch functionality. The Services are intended to support care and communication, but they are not a substitute for professional medical advice, emergency services, clinical judgment, or direct caregiver supervision.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not misuse, interfere with, reverse engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to the Services.
- Do not submit content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, or violates another person's rights.
- Do not use the Services to make automated decisions that require licensed professional judgment.
- Do not rely on Simone as the only method for emergency response or urgent care communication.
4. Care and wellness information
Users, families, caregivers, and community staff are responsible for the accuracy of information they enter into the Services. Simone may display reminders, summaries, and care updates based on that information, but users should verify important details independently.
5. Payments, trials, and subscriptions
Some Services may require payment, including device purchases, subscriptions, or community plans. Prices, trial terms, renewal terms, and cancellation options will be presented at checkout or in the applicable service agreement. Taxes, shipping, and third-party fees may apply.
Cancelling. You can cancel the Simone subscription at any time from the Simone app or at simone.care/manage, under Account, then Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; we do not pro-rate part-months, and we do not cut service off early. You can reverse a scheduled cancellation from the same screen at any point before it takes effect.
Cancelling a preorder. If your watch has not shipped yet, you can cancel the order at any time for a full refund to the original payment method. Cancel at simone.care/manage, or write to support@simoneai.com. Nothing is shipped, the subscription is cancelled with the order, and you are not charged anything further. Once the watch has shipped the order can no longer be cancelled, and the return terms below apply.
Returning a watch. A Simone watch may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the device price. We count delivery as the day the watch is set up in the app or, if it has not been set up by then, 14 days after it shipped. Start the return in the app, under Account, then Subscription, or at simone.care/manage; we email a prepaid return label, and the refund is issued to the original payment method once the watch reaches us. Send the watch back with its charger, and leave the SIM card in it. After those 30 days, a watch that has stopped working is handled as a warranty matter rather than a return: write to support@simoneai.com. We ship a replacement, you pair it in the app, and we switch the old watch and its plan off.
What happens to the watch when the subscription ends. The watch's mobile service is provided by us and is included in the subscription; there is no separate carrier account in your name and nothing for you to cancel. When a subscription ends, that mobile service ends with it: the watch stops working. The SOS button can no longer place a call, falls are no longer detected, and location and wellness readings stop. The watch remains fully working until the last day of the period you have paid for. After that, please take it off the wrist so it is not mistaken for a working alarm. Your account, and the history in it, remain available, and service can be restored at any time by resubscribing.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Services. By using the Services, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual property
Simone and its licensors own the Services, including software, design, text, graphics, logos, and other content. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the Services or permission to use Simone branding except as expressly allowed by us.
8. Third-party services
The Services may rely on third-party providers for infrastructure, payment processing, notifications, AI processing, maps, communications, or device functionality. Their terms and privacy practices may also apply.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. Simone does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free results, or that alerts and notifications will always be delivered. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Simone will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice by updating the "Last updated" date or through another reasonable method. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
